Is it not typical with all things there is controversy. Wherever you look you will find things that support your beliefs and you will also find information that negates your beliefs according to someone else's belief.
How do you know what to believe? 1 Peter 3:16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Timothy 1:5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Acts 23:1 1Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, "My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day." Hebrews 13:18 18Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. 1 Timothy 1:19 19holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith. Romans 9:1 1I speak the truth in Christ-I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit- 1Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created by Him and for Him. John 1:3 "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." 1 Timothy 4:4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, I can share with you scripture after scripture of the Goodness of God and ALL HE created is good and for our good and His glory. How can it be that there is such controversy in the church about the things of God? I believe because we are all on our own personal paths and journeys with the Lord. God gave us all gifts, talents, abilities and we were born into families with certain beliefs. I also believe that still today the religious spirit plays a huge part in the church just like in the days of Jesus. It was religion, the Pharisees and Sadducees, the keepers of the Law that accused Jesus, yes Jesus himself of casting out demons with demons and had Jesus crucified. I also believe that sincere believers of Jesus are walking in the spirit of religion and truly believe they are walking in discernment yet religion is a demonic spirit and discernment is a Holy Spirit. Religion accuses, condemns, criticizes, judges, divides and causes arguments, dissention and division. So you can see by its fruit that it is NOT a Holy Spirit. The Spirit of discernment is the absence of judgement and is spiritual understanding by the Holy spirit. Do you see how different they are? When it comes to Reiki, Gemstones and Yoga subjects of controversy in the church the "religious" spirit will accuse, judge, condemn, criticize, gossip and say that is demonic, or don't do that I was "told" that was demonic. Years ago I too was told by one of my pastors that gemstones, reiki and yoga were demonic because they were middle eastern practices. I didn't know better at that time so I was like okay and went on my way with no other thought or prayer about it. I didn't ask the Lord, I didn't pray, I was ignorant of any information about the subjects they really were not relevant to me at that time. Fast forward many years later the Lord directed me to learn about and use essential oils instead of herbs for medicine because they were more effective for healing. For years I did not listen, I REALLY enjoyed using my knowledge and Certification as an Herbologist and being able to blend herbs specifically for my clients needs so that all they recieved was what they needed. If I did use an essential oil it was in a massage and every time I would purchase an essential oil the Holy Spirit would tell me no, your wasting your money, no, not that one... I didn't know what to do with that. So one month in Sept/Oct of 2014 the Lord gave me one word during my prayer time. Life. So as I looked up all the scriptures that had to do with Life and just seeking the Lord on what that means for me, one day I was watching a teaching minister on Extreme Prophetic- Patricia Kings website and I clicked on a healing video taught by Dr. Sharnael Wolverton-Seon (Swiftfire Ministries) and she was speaking on using Young LIVING essential oils in her healing ministry and as soon as she said that Holy Spirit rose up in me and I knew THAT was it, I immediately obeyed, contacted Sharnael and she called me back while she was in the airport during a layover as she was traveling to minister. She signed me up as a Young Living Member that moment. My life changed in miraculous ways, I can not put into words the transformation that has taken place in me since my obedience to the Lord. I purchased a Young Living Kit with a diffuser- I watched and learned from videos and teachings from the Young Living company and other team members, I bought a reference guide for essential oils and I began to use them and diffuse them every day and to this day I still do. As I continued to use the oils with prayer and thanksgiving, I noticed things I used to fear, I feared no more, I began to take more steps of faith even if I didn't understand or have knowledge, I just began to listen and hear the Holy Spirit more, my growth in the Lord grew tremendously even during this time of not having pastors to teach and train me, though we went to a church we didn't grow in the Lord or things of the Spirit there in that church. Holy Spirit was and is my teacher and I watched videos of spiritual leaders who had faith , belief and trust in Jesus and walked in deeper things of God. During this time we were under a spiritual covering of Bishop Michael and Pastor Geraldine who became our spiritual parents who walk in wisdom, and discernment and kept us accountable. 4 months after becoming obedient to the Lord and using Living essential oils Dr. Sharnael hosted a large essential oil class for her whole team, there were about 72 of us that joined together in Zion Illinois to take a CARE (Center of Aromatherapy Research and Education) founded by Dr. David Stewart and his wife Lee. This was a 3 day intensive about Essential Oils, their Chemistry, The Healing Oils of the Bible, Vitaflex Technique, Raindrop Technique and Emotional Release. We learned scripture after scripture from a man who was a pure example of Love, kindness, gentleness, a man who was filled great wisdom and knowledge. Scripture in Chemistry, Scripture in Raindrop Technique, Scripture in Emotional Release again my life was radically changed once again. I went home and put into practice what I learned, I did practice Raindrop sessions on clients and got to witness miracle after miracle, my clients being healed of so many things physically, spiritually, emotionally. I was watching people get healed, delivered and set free. After practicing on quite a few clients Holy Spirit spoke to me and said now go take your test to become certified and I made it clear to Him that was not my intention I just wanted to get good at it and know what I was doing. The standards in the CARE company are extremely high and you follow proper protocols and you either pass or you fail, not only was it intense training and work it was VERY costly both financially and timely. I faced my fears and again did what I felt directed by the Holy Spirit to do scared, non the less obedient. I did pass my test and then went on to becoming certified to teach others the classes. I became an Instructor and then all the way to the top to becoming Fully Certified to Instruct and help others to get certified and offer Continuing Education hours to licensed professionals. Which is where I am now. What does all this have to do with Reiki, Gemstones and Yoga? I learned that just because I believed something did not mean it was true. I began to seek the Lord about things that freaked me out, I began to seek the Lord about things I knew nothing about. I told the Lord more than believing what I believe I want to KNOW the Truth, so show me any place my mind and spirit that is not lined up with you. Expose any unbelief, false beliefs..... I HAVE to be lead, guided and directed by YOU! During this process I met people who did practice Reiki, people who practiced Yoga, people who had and used gemstones, music/sound, color.... as healing tools. So I went to the Lord and said okay, I am seeing this...... I know nothing about this stuff, this is what I was told by....... I am not afraid to learn the Truth and I want YOU to teach me and show me. What God showed ME are some of the scriptures above and many many more. You see in ALL things you either do it for the glory of God or the lust of your flesh. You either call on the name of the Lord or you seek yourself, others or other gods of this world. Who is YOUR God? who do you seek? who do you pray to? Whos altar do you run too? Do you seek the Holy Spirit or pray to and seek other gods? I wont go into details about Reiki because there is already an informational on this website about the practice. If you are interested go check that out. Gemstones- I have not yet delved into learning about each one individually. What I do know is GOD created them. Because God created them I know they are living, God created the plants, the sun, water, air, he created gemstones I believe that they do have great significance or he wouldn't of created them, the Priests of the Lord would not of been directed to wear them on their breastplates they wore into the secret places to meet with God. The new heavens and the new earth would not be made out of 12 layers of gemstones. The cherubim would not be adorned with gemstones and the heavens would not contain them. God himself would not sit on a throne of Sapphire, and have the heavenly gates be made of pearls.......... ALL things were created by God for our good and His glory. Why do "Christians" call what God created demonic? that is for each person to answer themselves. You can not convince me anything God created is demonic. Can Gods creation be used by those who don't personally know and believe in God? of course. I did connect to a FB group called Gemstones and the Bible, not getting on FB much I really haven't done a whole lot of looking into it. What was most important for me is to have a clear conscience and seek the Lord on if gemstones were demonic or not and God answered me. If He ever wants me to learn more I am submitted to HIM. I personally enjoy gemstones and wear then, I have quite a few , I find them beautiful, Gods creation is beautiful to me. At this point I don't have to have knowledge or understanding of the mineral properties and healing properties in them, I just choose stones that are beautiful to me whether I find them in a stream, the road, a gemstone store.... Is using gemstones witchcraft? Well what is witchcraft? The bible says it is a work of the flesh, the dictionary says it is a practice of magical skills, spells and abilities and is used to harm others or control others and outcomes. Witchcraft to my understanding is (magical skills- supernatural activities outside of the Holy Spirit, seeking or operating out of other sprits that are not Holy) (remember demons were also created by God as angels- they have lived in heaven, Lucifer/Satan himself who was a created being Cherubim - a covering one, a burning one who once walked on the burning altar before the throne of God, he was full of wisdom and understanding- in heaven Lucifer's name was Hillel in heaven (bright and morning star) in English the name is translated to Lucifer which is the name for a Babylonian god. Lucifer is a fallen being. Satan is no dummy he lived in the prescence of God because of his pride and fall he hates all of mankind who can be redeemed by the blood of Jesus and by faith and believe in God/ Jesus, being the Son of God that He was born of a virgin, died and rose again after 3 days we people/humans can be restored to the Father and live in heaven when our time is up on earth. The fallen angels are destined to the pit for eternity. So there are spirits, spirits of darkness whose home is now on this earth (seeking who they can devour) who twist the Truth, and some people do not believe in the One True Living God and seek spirits outside of Holy Spirit. You see We are supernatural beings everything that has a dark side is a twisted, counterfeit version of Gods Holy intention and plan so my question is why are Christians more focused on the demonic than they are being right with God? There are demons everywhere and you will find them everywhere you look, Kevin Zadai said there is not a demon behind every tree there are 5...... is that what you are to be focused on? Or is your mind to stay fixed on HIM, seeking His Kingdom, will and ways? Allowing the discernment of Holy Spirit to show you. Just because one person seeks other spirits, gods, works of the flesh does not mean that everyone does. Judging and discernment are two different spirits don't confuse the two. Another question I ask is do you or have you ever gone to the doctor? did you do your due diligence to seek out if they are a born again believer of Jesus? Do they lay hands on you and pray for you? To take an oath to become a doctor you have to take an oath to many gods, not just the One True Living God who IS our healer, savior, deliver'r.... Does your doctor seek the Lord for your treatment or does your doctor use the equipment's made by man? Does your doctor share with you all of Gods creation that can be helpful tools to your healing? or does he prescribe you medication? Revelation 18:23 and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery. Some other versions say magic spells instead of sorcery. The Greek translation of sorcery is pharmakeia The greek word here is used for "witchcraft" is: Strong's # 5331:pharmakeia (far-mak-i'-ah); from 5332; medication ("pharmacy"), i.e. (by extension) magic (literally or figuratively): KJV-- sorcery, witchcraft. Prescribed and over the counter (man, lab, made) medicines is said to be witchcraft/sorcery. And indeed people are being deceived by the great merchants (pharmaceutical industry) this western culture has gotten away from the biblical practices of anointing with oil, laying on of hands and prayer and calling it witchcraft and sorcery, demonic. Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness With that said Reiki is a practice of laying on of hands and healing, Reiki is a harmless practice of lightly laying hands on your client in prayer with the intention of God working in and through you to heal the client. If you are a born again believer of Jesus and the bible you will KNOW that God in you is healer, our flesh has no capability to heal. It is by the stripes/provision by the power of the blood of Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit in us with the assistance of the angels of the Lord who are ministering spirits to do Gods will. So is Reiki demonic? Who is the facilitators source? there is your answer. Is your facilitator a born again believer of Jesus? does your practitioner lay hands on you and pray in the name of Jesus, keeping their personal will out of the prayer and seeking only Gods will for your life? What does Holy Spirit in you say? Is Yoga demonic? What yoga are you practicing, who are you following? What is your intentional outcome? Are you honoring your temple by stretching out and moving your body in ways that will benefit you? Are you practicing for any other reason than to honor God and care for your temple, you are housing Holy Spirit, you are His temple? You have to answer your own question. Personally when I was praying about what exercising to do, I was lead by the Holy Spirit to do something gentle that would bring my body to rest and relaxation, and minister to my nervous system. My body has been in fight or flight mode from all the abuses I went through in my life and putting my body under the stress of a hard workout was not for my good. When I began to look at yoga practices I did come across genre's that were more spiritual and I felt were not Holy Spirit lead, so I continued to look and found many many many practices that were exercise focused and that bore witness to my spirit, there is also Holy Yoga so that is where I go. Whatever YOU do, do it all for the glory of God- that is all inclusive. Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

What is Meditation? How does it facilitate emotional healing? What is meditation? To meditate on something means to think, ponder, contemplate, focus on, pay attention too. Each and everyone of us human beings meditate daily in some form or another. We think on and ponder all sorts of negative thoughts, feelings, situations and circumstances, that is a form of meditation. This type of meditation ultimately leads to 90% of all symptoms and disease. It has been scientifically proven 90% of all doctor visits are stress induced. Notice the word disease is dis ease. When we spend the majority of our time focusing on the negative we create more of that, our immune systems become suppressed and our thoughts and feelings get stored in our bodies and manifest in disease. Typically the standard American will seek a doctor who will then prescribe pharmaceutical drugs that do not address the issue but the symptom thus creating an array of other symptoms, and the underlying cause still remains. The meditation I want to share today is meditating on positive productive thoughts, feelings and emotions. By doing this we re wire our brains and joy, happiness, love, peace, balance, healing... are restored. It is in this place that our bodies can heal themselves like they were designed to. My personal experience with meditation has varied and how I meditate on a daily basis varies. It is important to me to get to the root of the issue so sometimes my meditation will be me sitting in a quiet room no distractions, no cell phone, children, husband, no noise at all. I will sit with a notebook and pay attention to my body, my thoughts, feelings or present emotions and I begin to write them down, I will acknowledge them, forgive myself, forgive others , release and let go of that particular issue and ask the Lord to fill me with the opposite of what that emotion, thought feeling was.... For example if I am feeling grief over a loss, I do all the above and ask the Lord to now fill those empty spaces where grief has lived in me with Love, Joy, Laughter..... Or if I just let go of anger I ask the Lord to fill me with laughter and joy. Or in general I will ask Him to fill those places with the fullness of His Holy Spirit. Anytime you release a negative always fill that space with a positive otherwise that negativity comes back and brings 7 more negative friends and your situation becomes worse than it was in the first place. Another form of meditation for me is to put on what I call soaking worship music, or you can find a very soothing instrumental sound to you and with only the sound of your music lay there and just take in the sound and allow it to resonate with you and bring you to a place of peaceful rest. Just choose an instrumental preference that will allow you to come to that peaceful state. My preference is prophetic instrumental worship or I like prophetic spontaneous worship by Bethel and Jason Upton. By doing this the prescence of God will come and fill the room I am in and I can feel His prescence. That may be an odd experience for some but it is very natural for me to come to that place. I also like to listen to the native American flute, the gong and healing bowls. I find all these on YouTube. Another type of meditation I have found very effective for me is guided meditation. A guided meditation can look very different and sound very different and you have to find a meditation that you helps you to relax. At the end of an effective guided meditation it should leave you feeling more love for yourself and others, more joy, lighter, freer and more energized. In this place of relaxation and your ability to remember love, joy, peace your body is able to heal. In this world today as we live daily in stress mode it is important to find time daily to meditate. To set your day in the morning a good guided meditation is fantastic so your first thoughts are positive ones. If negative thoughts feelings and emotions come up during this time, address them, forgive, release, let go and ask for the opposite to fill you. Then get re focused on your meditation. For me personally as a Christ believer and lover I do not leave out meditating daily on the word of God. I personally do this before any other meditation for the day and before I close my eyes scripture is the last thing on my mind and I will ponder it as I sleep. To know the promises of God for me have been my hope and what I base my Truth on. Knowing what the bible says has helped me to know who I am and how to live a life of Love and share the fruits of His Spirit, I have learned how to see others through the eyes of love instead of the eyes of judgement and condemnation and to love and accept every person for who they are and where they are in their lives right now yes even when they do not believe what I do. I have learned how to forgive myself and others, I have been encouraged, challenged and transformed inside and out because Christ is my solid foundation and that alone helps me to live in and walk in peace when life is a whirlwind. So if I am a "Christian" why do I do guided meditations? Isn't that unscriptural? I have learned through reading my bible that we are to think on these things- Whatsoever is pure, lovely, of good report, just, honorable. You will find this in Philippians 4:8. For me guided meditation helps me to do that especially on the days I am not seeing goodness in my life. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed by this world (stress, worry, anxiety.... but BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND) I was also taught to let Peace be my administrator and Righteousness my overseer. There was a time not by my own thoughts alone but being taught by the "Christian" community that Meditation was "New Age" and you shouldn't do that because you can allow demonic influence in. It has just been the last couple years that I have been willing to allow the Lord to open my eyes to what is right and wrong and as I learn more about what meditation is for me I am drawn closer to Love, Joy and Peace and I know that Jesus is Love, Jesus is Joy, Jesus is Peace and I am not being drawn away from him in meditating but being drawn closer to know him more deeply, intimately and personally. You will know a person by their fruit/actions. The outcome of mediation for me has been an increase in Peace, Love, Joy, Passion, Energy, Healing and so I know for me meditation has been a very effective and positive tool in my life. And enlighten you to what the scripture has to say about pharmaceutical medicine so that you can make an educated decision about your health and what measures are best for you. Matthew 7:1,2 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Proverbs 15:3 Man looks at outward appearances but God looks at the heart. May this be an encouragement to those who profess they are believers of Jesus to BE the light to the world? Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before others so they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. How are you being a witness and a testimony to others you falsely accuse of practicing witchcraft and sorcery ? What kind of light are you shining when you make snide remarks like "I am praying for you"... with a condescending, critical, judgmental heart. It is your LOVE that will draw men to the Father of Lights and if someone is practicing witchcraft and sorcery by all means pray for them in and with Love not judgement. And remember if you are partaking in pharmaceutical drugs you to are also partaking in witchcraft and sorcery.
